The Big Chinese Manufacturer Asus has recently brought in the new version of its old Asus Zenfone Go. You could also call it the 2nd Gen. just like the trend is these days. Let’s see what new changes has the brand brought up in this new device.
Design and Display
The new Asus Zenfone Go does looks appealing as it comes in 6 different color variants – Glamour Red, Pearl White, Lemon Yellow, Glacier Grey, Silver Blue and Sheer Gold.
These are the colour options that you are simply gonna fall in love with. The screen size remains the same at 4.5 inches.
The device comes in two variants one with 0.3 MP front Camera and a 5 MP Back Camera, while the other one has a 2 MP Front and an 8 MP Rear Camera. Suprisingly even being a budget segment device the Asus Zenfone Go has features like low-light mode, HDR mode, Zero shutter lag and much more Camera customization options which were earlier present only on top of the line devices from Asus like the Zenfone 2 series.
Power of the device?
The new Asus Zenfone Go has a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor along with 1GB of RAM that would allow you to do basic tasks without facing any kind of lags. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is soon planned to be upgraded to Marshmallow.
Battery and Pricing
The device comes with a 2070 mAh battery which is good for a device with a basic Quad-core processor and the two variants are priced at –
- 0.3 MP Front and 5 MP Rear Camera version – Rs. 5299
- 2 MP Front and 8 MP Rear Camera version – Rs. 5699
Well the device is a good one in the 5k price segment if you are planning to give it to your parents, grand-parents or your younger brothers and sisters then it would be a good choice. Basically its decent for a person who has just entered the Android world and wants to experience an entry level Android device with some decent specs.
